AOT Waxes & functional raw materials

AOT supplies functional raw materials for the development and manufacture of cosmetic products. Waxes, humectants and emollients provide targeted support for the consistency, stability, moisture retention and sensory profile of a formulation.

Our range comprises natural waxes, vegetable glycerine and olive-derived squalane – in organic and conventional grades and in various types for different cosmetic applications. You can order samples directly online and test them in your laboratory.

Waxes and functional building blocks

Alongside oils and butters, cosmetic formulations need raw materials that provide structure, stability and a defined skin feel. Our range includes:

  • Beeswax – in yellow (natural) and white grades and in convenient pastilles; for balms, lipsticks, salves and other solid formulations
  • Carnauba wax – one of the hardest natural waxes; for gloss, structure and temperature stability in stick products and colour cosmetics
  • Vegetable glycerine – a proven humectant in grades from rapeseed, linseed and sunflower; organic and conventional, palm-oil-free and vegan
  • Olive-derived squalane – a stable, odour-neutral emollient with a skin-like sensory profile and a silky, dry finish 

These functional raw materials can be combined in a targeted way and adapted to the requirements of your formulation. Waxes give products firmness and structure, glycerine supports moisture retention and squalane improves spreadability and skin feel.

We work with selected suppliers and long-term partners and pay close attention to transparent supply chains and traceable raw material origin. We also develop upcycling projects in which suitable side streams are processed into high-quality cosmetic raw materials.
