Cocoa Butter deodorised, organic (chips)

Deodorised organic cocoa butter in chip form combines the structuring properties of cocoa butter with a sensorially subtle grade. The cream-white chips have only a faint cocoa note, making them suitable for formulations in which the typical cocoa scent should have as little influence as possible on the fragrance concept.

Deodorisation reduces the characteristic aroma compounds of cocoa butter. The convenient chip form makes dosing and melting easier in laboratory and production processes.

From a formulation perspective, cocoa butter is notable for its high content of stearic, palmitic and oleic acid and its high melting point. As a solid plant butter, it is suitable for providing consistency and structure in emulsions and anhydrous formulations. On contact with the skin, it shows its characteristic melting behaviour and contributes to a smooth sensory profile.

The product is suitable for lip care, deodorant sticks, body butters, massage bars, creams and lotions as well as other cosmetic formulations.
