Product description
Organic vegetable glycerine from sunflower oil is a versatile humectant for cosmetic formulations. The palm-oil-free glycerine is obtained from a plant-based oil source grown in Europe and is suitable for a variety of skin care and cleansing concepts.
It is produced by splitting organic sunflower oil into fatty acids and glycerine. The glycerine is then purified by physical processes using temperature and pressure. The result is a syrupy, odourless and colourless liquid.
In cosmetic formulations, glycerine is used as a humectant. It can be incorporated into aqueous systems, emulsions and cleansing products and is typically used at concentrations of 2 to 10%. Glycerine is also frequently used in hair care formulations and can help to adjust the consistency of various formulation types.
The product is suitable for creams, serums, shower gels, shampoos, oral care products and other cosmetic applications.

Is AOT a trading company or a manufacturer?
AOT is both. We buy raw materials in large quantities, fill them to customer requirements and produce many products together with our long-standing partners. On site, we process raw materials – filtering, winterising, macerating and much more.
