Mango Butter refined, organic

Refined organic mango butter is a solid plant fat with a subtle mango odour and a melting point of 35–40 °C. Its melting range close to body temperature gives formulations structure and firmness while allowing smooth melting behaviour. This makes mango butter an alternative to other solid plant butters in a variety of formulation concepts.

The mango kernels are a by-product of dried mango production and are processed into a cosmetic raw material as part of an upcycling concept. Refining gives the butter its consistent grade with a subtle sensory profile.

In formulation terms, mango butter is characterised by a high content of oleic and stearic acid. It is suitable as a consistency and structuring agent for emulsions and anhydrous formulations and can give balms, body butters and stick products firmness and structural stability. On contact with the skin, it develops a smooth sensory profile.

The product is suitable for body butters, creams and lotions, lip care, colour cosmetics and hair care formulations.
