Product description

Organic chia flour is a partially de-oiled plant flour with a typical sensory profile. The brown-grey flour is made from 100 % organic chia seeds and is suitable as a plant-based raw material for food development.

For its production, the organic chia seeds are partially de-oiled by mechanical pressing. The resulting crude protein is then further processed into organic chia flour.

Organic chia flour is characterised by a high fibre content and a high content of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus.

Organic chia flour is characterised by its pronounced swelling properties. This makes it suitable as a plant-based texturiser for a wide range of food recipes and for making chia gels. In baked goods, chia gel can also be used well as a plant-based egg alternative.
