Product description

Organic refined palm oil is a solid, whitish plant fat with an almost neutral natural odour. It is characterised by its high proportion of palmitic and oleic acid and is suitable as a consistency and structuring agent for a range of cosmetic formulations.

Refining gives the palm oil its pale colour and sensorially understated quality. This allows it to be integrated flexibly into different formulation and fragrance concepts.

From a formulation perspective, the fatty acid profile is shaped in particular by palmitic and oleic acid, complemented by linoleic acid. As a solid plant fat, palm oil is suitable for providing consistency and structure in emulsions and anhydrous formulations. In soap making, its fatty acid profile contributes to hardness and lather.

The product is suitable for soaps, creams and lotions, balms, scrubs, hair care, colour cosmetics and other cosmetic formulations.

Virtually neutral in odour and taste; physical refining in line with the EU organic regulation – well suited to formulations.

Refined oil is virtually odourless and tasteless, making it highly suitable for formulations in organic and natural cosmetics. Refined organic oils are produced by mechanical pressing followed by physical refining. Only processing aids approved under the EU organic regulation are used.
