Product description

Organic MCT oil, also known as fractionated coconut oil, is a colourless and odourless neutral oil for cosmetic formulations. It is characterised by a light sensory profile and oxidative stability and is suitable for formulations in which the base oil should have as little influence as possible on colour and fragrance.

The MCT oil is produced from organic coconut oil and consists of medium-chain triglycerides based on caprylic and capric acid. It remains liquid and can be integrated flexibly into a variety of cosmetic formulation concepts.

In formulation terms, MCT oil is characterised by good spreadability and can support the application properties of emulsions. It absorbs well and leaves a light, low-greasy skin feel. Thanks to its oxidative stability, it is also suitable as a base for oil blends and as a carrier for other oil-soluble formulation components.

The product is suitable for emulsions, serums, facial and body oils, cleansing oils, sprays and other cosmetic formulations.

Virtually neutral in odour and taste; physical refining in line with the EU organic regulation – well suited to formulations.

Refined oil is virtually odourless and tasteless, making it highly suitable for formulations in organic and natural cosmetics. Refined organic oils are produced by mechanical pressing followed by physical refining. Only processing aids approved under the EU organic regulation are used.
