Product description
Oat Protein 70 is a plant protein concentrate based on organic oats. The beige-brown powder has a typical odour and taste and is a functional raw material for developing plant-based foods.
The oat protein is obtained by upcycling a secondary product stream from the production of oat sweetener. In the manufacturing process, the product is mechanically filtered, pasteurised by the process heat and then spray-dried. In this way, the existing raw material stream is specifically processed further into a plant protein concentrate.
In formulation terms, Oat Protein 70 can be used as a binder, texturiser and stabiliser. These technological properties allow its use in a wide range of food recipes.
Oat Protein 70 is purely plant-based and suitable for vegan and vegetarian product concepts. The product contains gluten. Oat Protein 70 is also available in organic quality.
