Hazelnut Oil cold-pressed, organic

Cold-pressed organic hazelnut oil is a light plant oil with good spreadability and is particularly suitable for massage and skincare formulations. The pale yellow oil has a subtle hazelnut scent, can be applied evenly and absorbs gradually. It leaves a supple skin feel.

For cosmetic use, the oil is obtained from organic hazelnut kernels by gentle cold pressing. Processing it as a virgin oil preserves its characteristic pale yellow colour and subtle nutty natural odour.

In formulation terms, hazelnut oil is characterised by a high proportion of oleic acid and a comparatively low proportion of saturated fatty acids. The fatty acid profile is complemented by linoleic acid. The combination of good spreadability and a light sensory profile makes the oil a versatile formulation component for oil blends and emulsions.

The product is suitable for massage oils, facial and body oils, creams, lotions and other cosmetic formulations.
