Heliaflor® 50 HO contains all essential amino acids, including the sulphur-containing amino acid methionine. This makes sunflower protein well suited for combining with pulse proteins, which typically contain lower levels of sulphur-containing amino acids. Conversely, pulse proteins can complement the amino acid profile of sunflower protein with their higher lysine content.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSunflower kernels naturally contain vitamin E, vitamin B1, vitamin B6 and folic acid, among other nutrients. The actual levels in the sunflower protein may be subject to natural and batch-related variation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDespite its higher residual fat content, Heliaflor® 50 HO has a high water-binding capacity: 100 g of product binds at least 160 g of water. All Heliaflor® variants can be combined with one another and with other binders.
